Professional Background

• Can you describe your career journey and what led you to your current position?

I’ve been in the financial services industry since the age of 18, starting my professional career as a teller at Kennebec Savings Bank under their summer internship program. After I graduated from Husson University’s financial planning program, I began working with a life insurance company. After learning a lot about my industry in a couple years, I decided I wanted to focus more on holistic financial planning strategies and joined a financial planning firm in Waterville. After working with them for a couple of years, I moved to work with Prime Financial as a Wealth Advisor. Working with Prime has been a blessing in my life in many ways.

Involvement with KV Connect

• Why did you decide to get involved with KV Connect?

Waterville’s young professional culture is extremely important for the overall economic health for the city. I heard about KV Connect’s mission at a Chamber of Commerce event and aligned with it immediately. I wanted to help in any way I could!

Personal Connection & Local Pride

• How do you stay engaged in the community outside of work?

I’m very involved in my church, volunteering for many support positions. I rely on my church community heavily to support me and my family’s spiritual growth.

• What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?

I have many nicknames… Bill, Billy, Billiam, Willy, Willy Wonka, Wilbur, Wilson, just to name a few. I answer to all of them!

Advice & Inspiration

• What advice would you give to other young professionals starting out in their careers?

It is not worth it to sacrifice your integrity for practically any reason.
